Sleep training testimonials.

“ We struggled so much with sleep with our 4 month old during his sleep regression and over dependence on the dummy. Carie was heaven sent. She gave us very specific and tailored advice for how to change feeding and how to help our boy self-soothe. It took about 3 days for the nights to be getting much better and about 1-2 weeks to see massive results in day naps. This was so much quicker than we had hoped or thought possible! After implementing the advice, our baby got the idea of self-soothing very quickly and became an amazing napper and night sleeper. Carie kept in touch with us and answered all the questions I had along the way too.

Carie was heaven sent

We can’t thank Carie enough! We came to Carie completely broken and weren’t sure how we were going to help out little boy to sleep, as well as get some sleep ourselves. He was waking up after every 30 minutes and was a struggle to put back down. Carie was kind, supportive and non-judgmental. She listened, and presented us with 2 options, knowing I wasn’t keen to let my little boy cry for too long. She didn’t force anything we weren’t comfortable with and encouraged us to keep going. We had success with our little boy sleeping through on night 4, we still had work to do, but after two weeks he was consistently sleeping through the night and self soothing himself to sleep! We have our evenings back and are starting to feel human again! I couldn’t recommend Carie enough, she kindly kept us accountable and encouraged us to trust the process. My husband says working with Carie to sort our son’s sleep out was the best Christmas present we could have given ourselves. Thank you Carie!

My husband says working with Carie to sort our son’s sleep out was the best Christmas present we could have given ourselves.
It is no exaggeration to say that Carie was a rock when I was struggling with sleep deprivation.

“It is no exaggeration to say that Carie was a rock when I was struggling with sleep deprivation during the first 18 months with my youngest child. I’d co-slept from birth which I had been happy to do whilst he was newborn, but then as time went on, I felt more and more depleted by my own lack of sleep. We were disturbing each other in the night, and he was relying on my presence to go back to sleep. I was becoming exhausted and resentful, and something had to change, especially when I had to go back to work. However I needed someone’s help as whenever I tried sleep training strategies on my own, I always went back to old habits because his protesting would upset me too much, or I was just too tired to be able to do it a different way and I’d give up. Carie helped me rationalise what I was doing. She helped me to see that I was actually enabling my child to learn how to sleep, just like we teach them how to eat, and that I was capable of doing it and I just had to be consistent and stick at it. And it worked! Within three nights, my son went from needing me to co-sleep, to sleeping independently. Yes, there was some crying but Carie was always there to reassure me and listen to my feelings which made me feel better, capable and less guilty. I look back now and I am genuinely so grateful for her support because I don’t know how I used to survive on such little sleep. He’s happier; I’m happier; the whole family is happier, because we are well-rested, and the kind, compassionate advice from Carie contributed to the place we are now in. Thank you Carie. xxx

Carie was an absolutely fantastic support for us with our first baby! We felt completely out of our depth adjusting to parenthood. All we knew was that we wanted our baby to sleep well and have good routines; but we didn’t know how to bring it about. Carie helped us achieve this with wise, honest and realistic advice while being empathetic to the trials of being a mum!

When new problems appeared, Carie was so skilful in exploring possible causes and suggesting various solutions to try out. This is how she gave me confidence in being a mum myself. Carie’s understanding of baby sleep cycles, which change so often, was invaluable- her advice helped make parenting a positive, rewarding and enjoyable experience. Thanks to Carie, I was a mum to a baby who slept through the night from 3 months old and now, despite hurdles, he’s a happy 2 year old. I feel confident handling his daytime naps and, since then night time sleep has never changed. I have energy to enjoy him when he’s awake! We are due out next little one in September and will definitely keep Carie on speed-dial!”

“Carie has been such a support with my one year old. I had used other sleep consultants and didn’t find their advice practical or sustainable with my desire to get back to work and manage a sleepless baby. She was so understanding and asked really helpful questions in order to put a strategy in place that enabled my son to sleep through the nights. Carie was really knowledgeable, professional and clearly really well read on children’s development and different sleep training strategies. We are really grateful for her!”

“Carie is a big reason our toddler has been falling asleep independently and sleeping through the night since a few months old. She provided us with practical guidance as well as emotional support throughout our sleep training journey. The research Carie has done into the long-term effects of sleep training on children gave us peace of mind and confidence when we came across unhelpful and inaccurate information elsewhere. We cannot thank her or recommend her enough!”

“Thanks so much for all your help Carie. I have been so grateful to have worked with you as I don’t know how we would be functioning now that I’m back at work if I was still up in the night!”

“Carie has been hugely helpful in giving me very practical and realistic advice for my newborn, but also with my older children too. She is always kind and understanding but not afraid to tell you when babies might need a change of routine to help sort sleep out! I have been deeply grateful for her advice and continue to seek it out often as my children develop and life throws new challenges at us.”
